Merric and Goldenstar completed Volume 2 Chapter 6 with Elborigorn, Trevors and Roewien. Elb informs us that 2.6.8 was a little buggy instance (not that Merric and I would know) but we still got it done and earned our extra legendary traits.
We also went out with Kia and her boyfriend Sam to collect book pages in the MIsty Mountains on our alt.
Goldenstar missed dungeon night due to laptop issues but Kia, Azz and Merric went to the School at Tham Mirdain.

Well after almost 4 weeks of a few messages back and forth with turbine, it seems as if I will not be getting the 1500 loyalty rewards points because when I resubscribed I used a 90 day game card and accidentally put it on the wrong account so someone at turbine was nice enough to move it to my main account, but now they have no record of me actually applying that game card so even though I have been subscribed since June, they do not think that I have
. Now for anyone else who applied a game time card, I think that they will probably (or already have since this has taken so long
) get the loyalty points. It’s just that I had the mix up with putting the time on the wrong account…

Premium friends coming back would probobly have to make tp farming characters on other servers. They arn’t brickwalled from having no tp chance, they just can’t farm tp for their home server.

Permanent Swift travel Access is something they’re working on for Former Subscribers. Maybe they’ll sell it to the rest of us eventually. *Don’t have +Sapience’s post handy, but its in the last couple of weeks*
Good advice for how to hook your friends, I’ve certainly got several that I’m trying to get that way. And as a side perk, it gives me a character that I’m deeding as i go with them, so while they’re earning LL, I’m saving for my next area!

As much as I hate to say it, it seems to be in a row. You actually have to go all the way to the top and then back down to the bottom 10 times. If I’m reading that entry correctly.

Well, IME, that’s what makes a hidden deed hidden. Usually, the requirements for a hidden deed involve actions that few people would think to take, such as jumping to your death from various spots in Moria. You’d never go out of your way to do that unless you knew it was for a deed.
I honestly have the notion that hidden deed requirements get “leaked” to the player base during beta phase.

I’ve gotten this deed on my Brandywine captain. As far as I can tell, it does NOT have to be in a row. The deed says you’ve completed 20/20 of the requirements, but it doesn’t list what they are. I’m guessing that there are several points on the hill and once they’ve been passed the appropriate number of times, you get the deed. I know for certain I’ve never gone up and down that hill 10 times. More like 4 or 5 at most before I got the deed.

Okay, so I’ve don a little research. There is apparently a point that the top and bottom of the hill. Crossing these points 10 times each will earn you the deed. You do not have to make several trips up and down the mountain. I ran back and forth over the tree-bridge and a little ways up the hill (right before a stone marker on the edge) 10 times. Then I ran all the way up the hill and repeated the process at the top. Voila! One full trip up the hill and “A new Title has been bestowed upon you, you may now be known as Ketani, Mistress of Stairs!”

I’ve been running Vol 2 groups with LMB every Saturday for the last two weekends. We finally ran 2.8.6 into the Hall of Mirrors, finding it NOT VERY FUN. Normally I love running instances, but ever since the updates instances have been riddled with frozen combat stances, respawns where there shouldn’t be, etc. After we solved the mirror puzzle and grabbed the relic we decided to leave the instance without completing it as the fun factor was completely gone.
I’m hoping they get these problems fixed because 2.8 has several more instances to run for more relics. I’m almost dreading them, whereas I would generally be excited to try them out.
Congrats on completing Vol 2!! I know how hard it is to get through some of those fellowships.

Actually, given that pipes are not traditionally inhaled, pipes are actually not as harmful as cigarettes! Mouth, lip, and other oral cancers are a risk, but the health risks associated with pipe smoking are far less than that of cigarette smoke. Nice podcast, by the way! I listen to every episode religiously, and I always look forward to hearing more!
