We will select 100 winners that will be granted access to The Lord of the Rings Online™: Free-To-Play Beta Test. In addition to this winners will receive a 5,000 Turbine Point code for the store to allow you to experience the shopping system during the beta test (these point codes will only work during the beta test).

Entering this sweepstakes is easy! All you have to do is leave a comment on this post answering the question: “What Would You Do for a Beta Key?” (you know, like Klondike Bar commercials) The theme of this contest is just to be silly so you don’t have to come up with deeply involved answers. A sentence or two will do!

I would form a barbershop quartet composed of dwarfs with prettily pigtailed beards, dress up in corsair outfits, and stage an open-air gig on Weathertop where we would perform Gilbert & Sullivan’s greatest hits to an audience of jeering half-orcs. Then I would use the proceeds from the gig to finance a lavish pool party in the Waterworks and hire the Watcher to serve the drinks (all those tentacles could come in handy).

I would join forces with Nico Bellic and Coraline to fight the combined powers of Sherlock Holmes and Bayonetta at their honeymoon on the shores of the Aral Sea, even as the water is drained right beneath us by Karakalpakstani rebels in their search for Aaron Burr’s death mask, which they intend to use in a device powerful enough to wake Edgar Cayce, AKA Ra Ta, from his eternal sleep beneath the Great Sphinx so that he can fly to the moon and rule it with the Méliès brothers who are in contention with John Marston for the throne of Easter Island, which was usurped by Scrooge McDuck in a coup executed with the assistance of Niccolò Polo during the solar eclipse, all so that Bobby Fischer and Andy Kaufman can be resurrected to have a final duel on the surface of the Pistol Star.
So, basically, what I did last weekend, but it’d be worth it for that sweet, sweet Klondike bar.
