First, make 2 of your own tasty and flaky Pie Crusts as instructed before.

Mushroom Pie Filling:

  • Some Green Onion
  • A Bunch of Mushrooms
  • A bit of Butter

Directions:

Cut the veggies and through everything -expect the Pie Crust- in a large frying pan over the fire. Cook until tender.
Dry the veggies and add them to 1 1/4 cup of homemade bechamel sauce, also called white sauce. Don’t forget salt and pepper!

Spread the filling in a Pie Crust and close it with another one on top. Don’t forget to make holes to let the steam out when cooking.
Paint with the gold of an egg to make the pie look golden and delicious!
Put in the oven at 400F for 40 min.

Enjoy!

Tips:

  • Add some garlic to the veggies for a tastier filling.
  • If you’re a cheese addict like me, you can also add some cheddar to your mushroom filling.
  • For a fancy touch, use two different kinds of mushroom available at the market.
  • A can of mushroom soup also be used instead of the bechamel, it does the job perfectly and it’s much faster, hehe.
