So we’re back from PAX East and I think the fact that the login servers are down is a huge conspiracy to force me to edit the recordings I have. I wanted to give a little bit of a “heads up” as to what we have in the way of interviews. Some are traditional interviews, while the others not-so-traditional. Some will be strictly based on the game, while others may talk about stew.
I just wanted to let you all know what was coming and to give you a brief overview of who we talked to.
- Sapience
- Clover
- Tolero
- Frelorn
- Moribund
- SGM (Senior Game Master) Nod
Everyone at PAX was SO GREAT, and it was a lot of fun. The downside of it all, is that we didn’t get to talk to everyone that we would have liked. But, there’s a reason for that as well; the guys and gals from Turbine were working. While I would have loved to have talked to Orion, I didn’t feel that it would have been fair to pull him away from all the people that were lining up to have items signed by him or who wanted to talk to him as well. And while my schedule didn’t align with everyone who was present at the convention, the same rule would have applied to them. But don’t worry, Turbine is more than aware that we’d like to have a long sit-down with everyone who works for them. In fact, I’m betting at this point they Community Management Team could make a drinking game out of our requests.
That being said, we had some really good talks with everyone that we could, even though they were pretty informal. We were able to have a sit-down with Sapience (at least until the PAX Enforcers got involved and had to usher us out) and he answered all our questions even though the poor guy was probably ready to crawl into bed and sleep for a couple of days at that point. Again, we’d like to thank everyone who was at the convention and was able to spend some time with us and would like to invite you back for a more formal talk in the future! For those who were unable to talk due to scheduling or the demands of PAX, we hope to talk to you soon too!
We plan to release the interviews that we have over the coming week and return to our normally scheduled program by Saturday. However, be aware that it may be extra long because we have a lot to talk about, and it might be a little late because it is a certain baby hobbit’s birthday this week!
