Ooo exciting! I’m not sure this is much use, but I’ll add it anyway, as I have been trying to log into Codemasters Forums for 6 months to post a simple suggestion but I have been having problems they don;t seem to have fixed.

    Champions have 2 skills-
Merciful strike (use below 20% health)
Fighting dirty (use below 25% health)

They can be traited to a higher health requirement, but they are always colour when fighting a mob, even though they cannot be used except at when the mob is below that health level.

Would it be possible for the Turbine team to grey out this skill until the mob hits the requirement like defeat skills are?

The amount of times I have clicked on it to feel the pause, then have the attack fail because the mob it slightly above the target health. Seriously judging the percentage of health on varying health mobs whilst fighting is not possible, or sensible, and basically most champs ignore these skills as a result, which is a shame as they could be bettter utilised.

    Have fun there guys!

I would hope this is possible as I know for Warden’s, one of our gambits stays greyed out when we have too much health to use it. So I would suggest bugging both skills on the champ ;)

When will we get a new expansive green area to explore that isn’t under total mob control? Mirkwood is beautifully implemented, but it’s rather…ahaha…murky. I know that trying to get high-end content into relatively safe areas is tricky, but my main pleasure from Lotro (apart from my kinfolk) is exploring the landscape, and although I’m VERY happy to be out of Moria I’m still feeling somewhat hemmed-in. I’d also be delighted to be interacting with the Fellowship again, it seems ages since I last saw them.

Love the game, love the music, love the visuals, love interacting with my kinnies (Tranquility/Gilraen). Dislike the radiance gating.

As I understand, Turbine is trying to create balance yet specialization between the classes. When it comes to corruptions, however, certain classes are favoured entirely over others. Clearly, the Loremaster and Runekeeper classes have the best (3 removals) and easiest (long range) corruption removal, with other classes handicapped by a lower amount of removals, longer cooldowns, or only being able to use them in certain situations (i.e. hunter only when health is below 50%). Will we ever see more balance in terms of corruptions, because as it stands right now, classes with inferior removals are handicapping their groups.

I really loved CSTM #23 and one of the more eye opening aspects of the interview related to the how the developers work with a set of constraints (time, money) and their work on different tasks reflects the constraints.

My questions would be 1) given the funding and time what aspect of the game would you like to further develop (other than what you are currently working on)? 2) How does Turbine/LOTRO prioritize game development in regards to expansions, rehabilitation of old zones, class development, Skirmishes, LIs, other.. when factoring in time, money, server space, or other constraints?

    Three questions,

    (1) Any chance that Skirmishes will ever have a PVMP option, meaning the ability to choose whether to fight as a Freep or a Creep within a skirmish against other player Freeps or Creeps?

    (2) Could you add a skill for Warden’s that gives an immediate aggro wipe? Warden’s take time to build up aggro but also take time to drop it and it makes it difficult to transfer to another tank when needed.

    (3) Could you add a skill for Warden’s that is similar to conviction but is a morale leech that transfers threat to Warden along with healing the party while also damaging the mobs?

    Thanks!

I like all of these ideas, and I think #1 has been hinted at previously (or maybe I’m hoping). #2 & #3 would be nice, but I’d prefer to have an agro copy such that if we die it is easier to get back to our job. In fellowships this isn’t too big of a deal, but for raids this is a BIG problem.

Hey guys one more I though tof whilst writing a new post tonight, and Doc Holidays seems to be on my side too-

Will we get an Annuminas Skirmish, lots of nice future/past events to use and a beautifull environment!

Ask them if they plan to do anything more to “discourage” Overpower and Fervour tanking. DPS tanking really just takes away the neccessity for any actual tank class and is just boring.

1.) Will we ever see a Goat with a festival theme?

2.) Will there ever be any cosmetic slots for weapons or would it be too ridiculous to see someone delivering 300+ dps with dual-wielded Trout?

3.) I feel like weaponsmith crafting could use a bit of a boost. Right now, the best level 65 non-legendary item I can craft is far less powerful than a mace or a hammer that may drop in Sword Halls or SG. Combine this with the frequency of Legendary Weapon drops (including tablets and dwarf tools) and there’s not a whole lot of crafted gear that I can sell for endgame toons. Any plans to “add to the menu?”
